Inmates in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, set fire at the Pasquotank Correctional Institution in an attempted prison break on October 12, according to authorities. A WSOCTV report quoting prison spokesman Keith Acree said that two employees were killed and 10 people, including prison workers, were taken to the hospital. None of the inmates escaped.
