A winery in Glen Ellen, California, was barely missed by large wildfires that swept through the small city on October 10. This video from Imagery Estate Winery, taken on October 11, shows the perimeter of the property charred near the vats. Sixteen wildfires have been burning in California since early in the week. Thousands of homes have been evacuated, roughly 170,000 acres have burned and 23 people have been confirmed dead, according to reports. More than 30 commercial businesses across Napa and Sonoma counties have been destroyed. The Orange County Register reported that by Wednesday, October 11, at least five wineries had been destroyed and nine others were damaged by the wildfires. Credit: Instagram/santa8t via Storyful
