Rumble Campaigners against enforced and arbitrary detention in Syria drove a “freedom bus” around London on October 11, to draw attention to the plight of those imprisoned. The red double-decker tour bus carried the message “Set Them Free” alongside photos of friends and relatives that campaigners said are currently detained by the Syrian regime. Noura Ghazi Safadi, the wife of the prominent Syrian activist Bassel Khartabil, who was reportedly executed in a Syrian government prison, was among the women in the campaign. Campaigners said they hoped to drive the bus all the way to Damascus. Credit: Families for Freedom/Will Rose via Storyful
