A kiwi chick born at Rainbow Springs Nature Park in Rotorua, New Zealand, has been named Bloomers because of the white feathers growing around one of his legs. The park announced the birth of the rare chick, with his multi-coloured plumage, and showcased it in a video published on October 10. Bloomers was one of 24 kiwi chicks living at the park after being rescued as eggs from the wild. Credit: Rainbow Springs Nature Park via Storyful
