MORE Censorship NEEDED says Foreign Interference Committee

You won't believe what the MPs are planning next.

What do you think the House of Commons Ethics Committee has found on Foreign Interference? That the Chinese police stations have not been shut down but should be? That Liberals benefited from Chinese election interference that included threats and intimidation to elected officials?

These are not the number one concerns for the House of Commons Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics Committee. Co-chairs Bloc Québécois MP René Villemure and Liberal MP Mona Fortier explain that MORE censorship is required. This censorship that will "protect" "victims" will also prevent whistleblowers from passing "misinformation" like the CISIS leak online where the "platforms" could be "punished". That is what they want enforced in recommendation number 16. No one is safe, Google, Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter) nor legacy media including Globe and Mail that broke the China interference story from the whistle blower or CBC.
