Police investigate deadly crash on Detroit's east side

Detroit police are investigating a deadly crash early Tuesday morning on the city's east side.  It happened near the intersection of Park Dr. and Maiden St. in a neighborhood that is north of Harper and east of Dickerson. We're told a silver Pontiac Grand Prix was going east on Park and hit another vehicle head on driving west on Park. The driver of the Pontiac Grand Prix then struck a tree and was killed in the crash. A 66-year-old man driving the other vehicle was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
