Timothy van Beelen jumped right in when he spotted a tiger shark in the waters of Coral Bay, Western Australia, recently. He was greeted with the sight of the shark grappling with a turtle. When the turtle appeared to free itself from its attacker’s jaws, the shark turned its attention on van Beelen, swimming towards him with mouth wide open. Van Beelen said this was “simply a warning to get away from his food.” Credit: Timothy van Beelen via Storyful
