It's not about predicting specific events, but the undeniable cycle of such tragedies that we've seen time and again.

The core issue? The unchecked access to assault rifles. Our leaders, those in Congress and the Senate, seem to turn a blind eye. But one can't help but wonder, would their stance change if their own were at the receiving end?

But it's not just about the weapons. Many of these perpetrators are victims themselves, victims of a system that overlooks mental health issues. Instead of providing the help they desperately need, society often pushes them to the brink. And when they act, the immediate reaction is vilification.

Law enforcement, too, has its role to play. Their approach, more often than not, is to eliminate rather than incapacitate. This mindset needs a shift.

We live in a world where the mentally disturbed, through no fault of their own, have the means to cause mass destruction. The solution isn't a mystery. It's clear as day. We need government intervention, both in the realm of mental health and in the regulation of firearms. The cycle of "wash, rinse, repeat" is a grim reality we face, but it's one that we can change.
