The World Food Programme and the UNHCR in Syria said on October 4 that, in conjunction with the Syrian Red Crescent, a humanitarian convoy had delivered supplies to the opposition-held towns of Houla in Homs and Hirbnafsah in Hama province. A total of 61 trucks, loaded with food, water and vaccines were delivered to about 89,000 civilians living in the area, the sources said.
