Everything You're NOT ALLOWED TO MISS in Oman / Road Trip

Oman is a beautiful country not known by most but after spending over a week there, let us tell you that it is truly worth visiting.

Our day started at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, home to the second largest chandelier in the whole world. The mosque itself is one of the most interesting building I have ever seen. Keep in mind that dressing modestly is required to visit this holy place.

From Muscat centre, we drove an hour and a half to one of the most stunning place in Oman, Wadi Ash Shad. After a 45-minute hike through beautiful landscape and crystal blue water bodies, we made it to the main event, a beautiful natural pool and a secret waterfall located inside a cave. Absolutely breath taking if you ask us!
We highly suggest that you visit this place early in the morning to avoid the harsh sun and warm weather of the afternoon like we experienced.

Back on the road for a short drive along the coast to Bimmah sinkhole. This place is also very impressive and you realistically only need 15 minutes there unless you are planning on swimming of enjoying the space.

From there, we have to rush back to Muscat, change quickly at our hotel and drive to the marine for a private sunset cruise in the Muttrah area of Muscat. Even if the sun was not on our side for that sunset cruise, it was such a fun experience and a great way to see Muscat from a different angle.
