Amusing video from New York City of a police officer challenging a member of a marching band from Jamaica to a drum battle.

In the video, filmed on September 4 at a Labor Day Caribbean Carnival in Brooklyn, the New York Police Department officer can be seen taking part in an impropmtu drum-off with Laureal Montel McFarlane of the George Washington Marching Band Jamaica.

After he finishes drumming, the police officer says to McFarlane: "Look at his face. He's like, 'I've got this!'"

Then McFarlane starts to drum.

The band had flown over to the US from Jamaica for the event, a trip that was paid for with the help of family and friends.
