Kids are always adorable, but when their curious stage comes in, parents are good to fear the worst. They want to see, touch and feel everything. That is why there are child-proof locks available on the market.

But this one is a true moment of terror, as one of twin tot decided to copy mom’s beauty regime - so he plastered his brother’s face in a nice, thick layer of Sudocrem. In case you have never heard of it, Sudocrem is an over-the-counter medicated cream for diaper rash. Among other things, it is a weak anesthetic and, other than nappy rash, it can also be used to treat eczema, bedsores, acne, minor burns, surface wounds, sunburn, chilblains and annoying twin brothers.

Jake and Elis’s mom Caery Welsh burst into fits of laughter when she walked into the living room to discover two-year-old Jake with a full face of the antiseptic cream while twin Elis chuckled next to him.

The video shows a sheepish Jake covered in the white goo refusing to reveal who the cream culprit was when asked by mom, only flashing a coy smile. But later on Elis outs himself as the wannabe beautician when he saunters up to his brother, touches his face and bursts into fits of giggles – before Jake retaliates by playfully pushing Elis over.

Now we understand why they are calling it “the terrible twos”.
