Since 1999, Milwaukee Empty Bowls has distributed $705,000 in support of our neighbors, with $692,000 helping feed those in need, plus $13,000 provided for educational scholarships. They do that by bringing people together through beautiful artwork and delicious food generously provided by local restaurants. Joining us to discuss this year's event is Ramie Camarena, Milwaukee Empty Bowls Board Director, and DeAnna Leitzke from MSOE, the event's host and sponsor. Milwaukee Empty Bowls takes place this Sunday, October 8 from 11am to 2pm at the Kern Center at MSOE (1245 N Broadway). For more information, visit MilwaukeeEmptyBowls.org.
