Food and drinks were donated to support victims, their families and hospital staff on October 2 in the aftermath of a mass shooting in Las Vegas the day before. Valerie Carpenter Bernstein filmed this footage showing the donation at the University Medical Center. A separate video from the same day shows traffic, with a female voice saying “there is a line for miles to get in to give blood at the Red Cross.” At least 59 people were killed and more than 500 others were injured in the shooting near the Mandalay Bay hotel on Sunday, according to Las Vegas police. Governor Brian Sandoval on Monday declared a state of emergency for Clark County, which contains Las Vegas. Credit: Facebook/Valerie Carpenter Bernstein via Storyful
