People lined up down the block outside Las Vegas blood banks on Monday, September 2, after a shooting that killed more than 50 and injured hundreds more. People were told the best way to help was to donate blood, according to a news report. Police told people to use two blood banks rather than going to the hospital, since they were inundated with patients from the shooting.
