Roundabouts are a tricky thing, you either love them or you don’t. It all depends on your expertise. Some people say that it’s the best thing ever invented for reducing traffic jams however, we think that this beginner is not the greatest fan.

A motorist has revealed painfully-embarrassing footage of a newly-qualified driver stalling a staggering THIRTEEN times while trying to get around a roundabout. James Johnston, 27, captured the unbelievable footage using his dashboard camera on his journey home from work on Tuesday. He was waiting patiently behind the rookie watching the light turn from red to green, then red again, then green again and again and again and again.

The video shows the young female driver attempt to set off when the traffic lights turn green, but she immediately stalls. This isn’t the first time a beginner gets paralyzed with fear when behind the wheel. It doesn’t even have to be a roundabout, it can happen everywhere, even when you’re turning your car on.

Thankfully, council worker James, from Bathgate, Scotland, waited patiently behind the driver, who had a green P plate displayed in the rear of her Citroen C1. After a few too many tries, she let go of her fear and decided to join the other cars in the traffic.
