President Donald Trump made a call on Wednesday, September 27, to check on an Indianapolis, Indiana, police officer who crashed his motorcycle while escorting Trump’s motorcade from a rally in the city. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer Robert Turner was escorting the motorcade to Indianapolis International Airport after Trump’s rally at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, when he crashed traveling westbound on Interstate 70, according to reports. In a Facebook post from the IMPD page, police said Trump delayed his flight so staff could contact IMPD Chief Bryan Roach, and then spoke to Turner himself.
