Maddow said Trump has been "portraying a future" for the United States "in which we don't have another election" should he become president again, as the former president has been insisting that voting polls and the democratic process are rigged against him. During Maddow's appearance on The View, one of the hosts claimed Trump would cancel the news as president, to which Maddow added that Trump wants to pursue legal action against MSNBC
