Rumble Leaks at the World Trade Center in Manhattan sent water cascading down stairways and trapped people inside elevators on September 26. The water came from an air conditioning leak that poured into staircases, triggering the alarm system and halting two elevators in the building. A handful of people were briefly trapped inside the elevators. The leak was reported to be coming from the 88th floor. Firefighters and Port Authority police responded to the incident and the leak has since been contained. Alan Haburchak filmed while trapped inside one of the halted elevators.
