An early afternoon fire that started along California’s 91 Freeway near the Orange-Riverside county line on Monday, September 25, had quickly grown to 2,000 acres by around 10pm, local reports said. A video captured by a motorist traveling eastbound on the freeway showed large areas of the blaze burning dangerously close to the roadway as traffic continued to pass by. As of Tuesday morning, local media reported that the blaze was only 5 percent contained. Credit: Instagram/ryanpenhall via Storyful
