Florida officials said on Thursday, September 14, that they planned to keep Interstate 75 open after the Santa Fe River, which had risen 15 feet in 36 hours following Hurricane Irma, started to recede. Bridges on US-41 and on US-27 over the river were closed on Wednesday as the river rose. They remained closed on Thursday. This video shows the Santa Fe River and I-75 on Wednesday evening.
