A woman in San Antonio, Texas, is using her “extreme couponing” skills and addiction to shopping to help families affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Kimberly Gager, whose Virginia home was destroyed by Hurricane Floyd in 1999, has been buying emergency supplies, such as diapers, clothing, and baby food, for families since Hurricane Harvey first made landfall in August. Gager began requesting donations through her PayPal account for people to help her with buying and delivering supplies after some donation groups allegedly had strict guidelines for giving the supplies to affected families. Speaking to local media, Gager said she’s now turning her attention to Irma evacuees in her area, and that she’ll “keep buying and keep going, until everyone is taken care of.” Credit: Facebook/Kimberly via Storyful
