Eating at a nearly empty Paula Deen's Family Kitchen & Shopping at the Island at Pigeon Forge

We headed over to the Smoky Mountains for the last week of August and let me tell you a little secret, if you DO NOT like crowds, this is the BEST time of year to be here. We missed the Jeep Invasion and were too early for the Rod Run, and that meant we practically had Pigeon Forge to ourselves! Seriously!
