Floridians Georgia Mott and Taittyn Fischer went the extra furlong to protect their beloved horses during Hurricane Irma, keeping them in a laundry room for the duration of the storm. In videos posted to Facebook by Fischer on September 9, the horses can be seen trotting through a house. Mott posted a follow-up on September 11, saying: “With a sigh of relief we can say Irma is gone! We got away with no real damage and the yard is high and dry. Needless to say, the horses were happy to get out of the laundry room this morning. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the kind words, well wishes, and prayers. My prayers go out to those who didn’t fare so well.” Credit: Facebook/Taittyn Fischer via Storyful
