Father will be charged in son's Walnut Hills traffic death, Cincinnati police say

A boy police say was injured and abandoned during a single-vehicle crash died Sunday. Ariyonte Holloway, 10, had been at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center since he suffered critical injuries Aug. 1. He was the riding in a car that slammed into a tree near Lincoln Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, in the city's Walnut Hills neighborhood. Police said criminal charges are coming against the driver -- and father -- Adriel Holloway. Cincinnati police Lt. Brian Norris said investigators would work with the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office to determine what charges are appropriate.
