Storm Shield Forecast morning update 09/04/17

The storm threat tapers off a bit today, but scattered showers and isolated will continue into the evening hours thanks to that remnant moisture from Lidia still moving through the region and an afternoon high of 102 degrees in Bakersfield. That is potentially making for dangerous afternoon travel over the mountain passes. It doesn't look as active as yesterday but still potentially dangerous in areas where strong thunderstorms develop.
