A pontoon boat carrying several police officers hit a tree and capsized in fast-moving floodwater near Houston on August 30. Local man Josh Hohenstein, who had joined the flood-rescue efforts in the wake of Tropical Storm Harvey, captured dramatic footage of the boat’s sinking. He described in a Facebook post how he pulled one of the officers from the water. “I barely caught her by one arm and used everything I had to get her on board,” he said. The other officers on board were also rescued, Fox 13 News reported. Credit: Facebook/Josh Hohenstein via Storyful
