A group of men joined hands to save a dog stranded in raging waters in Lumberton, Texas. This video from August 29 shows the rescue effort. A man wearing a life jacket was tied to a rope, which was held by several other men. The man waded through fast-moving water and eventually brought the animal to safety. A Flash Flood Watch was issued for Lumberton and surrounding areas, which were battered by Tropical Storm Harvey. At least nine people, including a police officer, were killed and tens of thousands were displaced, according to local officials, Houston Chronicle reported. The storm would affect Texas’ Gulf Coast in the coming days and could bring flooding to Louisiana. Credit: Kavan Wise via Storyful
