Addicks Reservoir in Harris County, Texas, began flooding on Monday, August 28, as Tropical Storm Harvey continued dumping water across Houston. This water shows the breach in capacity from Addicks. ABC 13 in Houston reported the reservoir reached water capacity, even after controlled releases. On Tuesday, the water level was measured at 108.51 feet, and is projected to reach 110.4 feet. Residents in subdivisions around Addicks reservoir, and around nearby Barker Reservoir, were encouraged to monitor weather conditions when and if they decide to evacuate.
