Mumbai was hit by heavy flooding on Tuesday, August 29, the worst seen in the Indian city since the devastating flooding of 2005. The floods caused a train derailment and widespread travel disruption, according to local reports. Reports said the flooding, caused by four days of heavy rain, waterlogged low-lying areas and roads.
