A Houston resident said he witnessed rescue helicopters aiding people at a flooded nursing home near the University of Houston on August 27. Though much of the Houston metro area is flooded, the Houston Office of Emergency Management stated there are no evacuations in the city. Note: The source said he saw US Coast Guard helicopters performing the rescues. However, the helicopters seen here are UH-60 Blackhawks, which are not operated in this configuration or color scheme by the Coast Guard. Storyful confirmed, however, the Texas National Guard deployed Blackhawks to perform rescues in Houston. Credit: Facebook/Juwon R. McCaskill via Storyful
