Deadly Car Bomb in Sadr City, Baghdad

At least 10 people were killed when a car bomb hit a local market in the Shia-majority Sadr City, an eastern suburb of Baghdad, on August 28, according to reports citing Iraqi officials. At least two dozen people were injured and the death toll was expected to rise. The bomb hit the Jamila market. Two police officers were reported to be among the victims.
