A man in Houston, Texas, made the best of flooding in his house caused by Hurricane Harvey on August 26, eliciting laughter from his daughter for his dove into the floodwater to capture a fish that swam inside the house.

Saul Saldana’s antics were captured by his daughter Viviana, who posted videos to social media of her dad fishing for a baby shark inside the comfort of their own living room. In the clips, Saul is seen diving into the water a number of times as he attempts to capture the fish, which swam inside when the family opened the back door of the house in an attempt to let out water that had inundated the residence.

The confused animals seem to be looking its own way out, but could use a little help. So Saul dives a couple of times after it with zero success. Viviana is pointing towards the water whenever she sees the shark swimming and her dad lunges after it. Third time's a charm though and Saul manages to corner the tired fish and grab it by the tail, no less!

Elsewhere in Houston, the result of the flooding was more serious: the National Weather Service warned of catastrophic flooding on August 27. There were unconfirmed reports of a number of fatalities in the flooding. August was Houston’s wettest month on record, according to the NWS.
