A large crowd of people joined the family of Kian delos Santos, a teenager who was killed by Philippine police, for his funeral march on Saturday, August 26. As the march made its way through the city of Caloocan, it was joined by both supporters of the family and critics of the Duterte administration according to reports. Several videos shared to social media showed members of the crowd both holding anti-government signs, and booing at the police. Philippine police say that they were forced to shoot the teenager after he opened fire on the during an anti-drugs operation. Delos Santos’ family is disputing that claim.
