Strong winds downed trees in one Corpus Christi, Texas, neighborhood on Friday, August 25. The area was under an extreme wind warning and wind gusts measuring 74 mph were recorded at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Hurricane Harvey ramped up to Category 4 on Friday, with top sustained wind speeds of 125 mph at 60 miles off the Texas coastline late Friday afternoon.
