A hospital in south Texas transferred 10 babies from its neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to a hospital in north Texas on Thursday, August 24, as Hurricane Harvey began bearing down on the state from the Gulf of Mexico. All 10 babies were transferred from Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth by Friday morning. The Fort Worth hospital said its ‘Teddy Bear Transport’ jet, loaded with specialized medical equipment, flew the babies out of the storm’s path. Credit: YouTube/Cook Children’s via Storyful
