Airstrikes on villages north of the Syrian city of Homs killed at least three people on Thursday, August 24, according to local reports. A hospital in Kafr Laha, north of Homs in the al-Houla region said three people were killed by an airstrike in the nearby village of Tal Dahab. This footage shows what is described as the aftermath of aerial strikes on al-Houla region. A small truck can be seen stuck on a slope alongside a road. Another video, shared by the Syrian Civil Defense – also known as the White Helmets – in Homs, included footage showing the same scene, and described as Tal Dahab in al-Houla. In that footage, two badly injured men are rushed by White Helmet volunteers into an ambulance. Civilians have been killed and injured in airstrikes across al-Houla province throughout August 2017. On August 3, Reuters and local news sources said Russia and Syrian opposition forces had agreed on a de-escalation zone in the region north of Homs. However, Storyful has yet to confirm the location of that zone. Credit: YouTube/SMART News Agency via Storyful
