Aboriginal teens and children from the Belyuen community near Darwin performed incredible rap and traditional dance in a video uploaded in June 2017 to raise awareness about mental health. The video, called “Talk It Out,” encourages aboriginal youths to discuss their emotional health. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics: “In 2008, nearly one-third (32%) of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 18 years and over had experienced high/very high levels of psychological distress, which was more than twice the rate for non-Indigenous people.” Credit: Indigenous Hip Hop Projects via Storyful
