Secret Backyard Pool Skateboarding LA Hotspot

The jungle bowl is my favorite pool of the 90s without a doubt I spent more time here than anybody and it was a magical skateboarding spot for sure. The jungle bowl location was so secret. It was very difficult to find. It was difficult to skate, but if you could work through both of those issues then you had yourself a winner, and this was probably one of the only pools that was rideable at that time and it ended up becoming one of the most important skateboarding pool spots in the history of modern skateboarding, because it allowed the progression of certain styles of maneuvers that have become common place like ollies into huge frontside airs and stuff like that and it’s a certain style and approach to getting gnarly that was birthed at this spot..
