Pee-wee’s Big Adventure actress Diane Salinger gave a panel at Retro Con 2023 to talk about her experiences, career, and answer fan questions. She also shared memories of Paul Reuben. Due to the SAG/AFTRA strike, she was unable to address particular projects by name.

Diane Salinger portrayed Simone in Pee-wee’s Big Adventure and also teamed up again with Pee-wee Herman in Batman Returns. She is also known for her roles in Carnivale, Ghost World, Ronstadt, All Hallow’s Eve, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, Salem, The Young and the Restless, Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and many more.
