Floodwaters Rush in Through Wall of Asda Store in Leeds

Flash flooding hit parts of Yorkshire region on August 23, with heavy rain causing large amounts of water to build up in Leeds, Wakefield, Scarborough and other areas. The Environment Agency issued flood warnings for areas surrounding the River Esk and the River Rye, and North Yorkshire County Council reported damage to roads and manhole covers in Scarborough.
