Secretaria de la Comisión de Desarrollo Urbano e integrante de las comisiones de: Economía, Energía, Organismos Internacionales e Igualdad de Género.

Es Maestra en Administración Pública y Política Pública por el Escuela de Gobierno del Tec de Monterrey. Fue Directora del Laboratorio Convivencia Urbana.

En su primera vez en política, ya es una de las 100 líderes más influyentes del sector energético en México, también es parte de los liderazgos globales más influyentes en el impulso del Bitcoin como “legal tender” (moneda de curso legal) y es considerada una de las mujeres más influyentes de la política mexicana.

In this week's episode, Juan Cienfuegos talks with Nuevo León Senator Indira Kempis about the proposed Bitcoin adoption in Mexico, her inspiration based in El Salvador, and how she began her path in politics.

Indira Kempis Martinez is Senator of the Republic for Nuevo Leon. Secretary of the Urban Development Commission and member of the commissions of: Economy, Energy, International Organizations, and Gender Equality.

She holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the Tec de Monterrey Government School. She was the Director of Laboratorio Convivencia Urbana.

In her first time in politics, she is already one of the 100 most influential leaders in the energy sector in Mexico, she is also part of the most influential global leaders in the promotion of Bitcoin as a "legal tender" (legal tender) and she is considered one of the most influential women in Mexican politics.

Some of her iconic projects have been recognized by the World Bank, Obras Cemex, and the Secretariat of Urban, Territorial, and Housing Development.
