Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

We have a very weak cool front approaching the area from the north as we head into the afternoon. It looks like it may affect counties north of Highway 29 with a chance of isolated afternoon T'storms. It'll be warm today with highs in the mid-80s, though cooling a bit near Lake Michigan. That weak front slides through the rest of the area tonight bringing us that chance of an isolated shower or T'storm. Not everyone will see rain tonight. Lows will bottom out in the low-60s with patchy fog possible late. The weekend looks warm and muggy with plenty of sunshine, though a few folks could see an isolated T'storm on Saturday afternoon and night. Most of the weekend should stay dry through with highs topping out in the mid- to upper-80s both days though cooling along Lake Michigan. It will stay warm & humid through the middle part of next week before chances of rain increase into Wednesday. The Dog Days of Summer!
