Police searched the town of Sant Sadurni in Spain on Monday, August 21 after they found and killed the suspect in the Barcelona van attack at a gas station near by. Spanish police pursued and confronted a man at a gas station in Subirats, Spain, who is accused of driving a van into a crowd of people in Barcelona on August 17. Local media said a person in the area identified the suspect in the attack, Younes Abouyaaqoub, and called the police. Spanish police said they shot and killed Abouyaaqoub, and then responded to a report of a suspicious van in the town of Sant Sadurni. A manhunt for Abouyaaqoub had been underway since the van attack in Barcelona, which killed 13 people and injured more than a hundred. Abouyaaqoub is also believed to have escaped Las Ramblas by hijacking a car and killing its driver. Credit: Facebook/Alicia Garcia Garro via Storyful
