Willie Trice - "Shine On"

Recorded April 20, 1972; appeared on the album BLUE & RAG'D (Trix, 1974). Trice, who had recorded a few sides with his brother Richard in 1937, was one of the most interesting performers to re-emerge during the great blues revival of the '60s and '70s. He was an heir to the Piedmont blues tradition of Blind Blake and Blind Boy Fuller, but added his own personal touch to the music.
