Airstrikes in Southeastern Syria Threaten Displaced Civilians

A series of airstrikes targeted the Hadalat camp on Wednesday, August 16, and residents of the camp claimed they were carried out by allies of the Assad regime A man who said he was a resident of Hadalat Camp on the southeastern border of Syria with Jordan said airstrikes had hit 70 meters from his home. In a second video, a man describes the fear of children after an airstrike in the same camp. The UN Refugee Agency estimated that 50,000 civilians were displaced in the area after airstrikes. It warned of deteriorating security conditions and very limited access to food and healthcare.
