When Alysun's church handed out $5 bills as a reverse offering, she didn't think to keep it for herself. This single mom knew who she wanted to give it to - The Paper Man.

Despite struggling with mounting bills and a broken dishwasher, this single mom knew right away that she's not going to keep the money for herself, and instead she offered it to the dancing, singing, bicycle-riding man who sells newspapers every Sunday morning. She set up a fund called "Bless the Paper Man", and asked all her neighbors and friends to pitch in and help.

She started out with the small hope of raising a couple hundred dollars for this joyous man, but little did she know, the money came pouring in and the fund grew to several thousand dollars in just a few days. Being kind when you're in a rough place in your life really takes an extra effort, but this amazing woman kept her head high and didn't let her own problems get the best of her.

Instead, she opted to help someone that brought joy to the neighbors every Sunday morning, and she did much more than she expected. We're sure that the Paper Man was more than thrilled about this extraordinary act of kindness. The church's request was to bless someone, and that she has! We need more people like her!
