An inspiring video has emerged of a homeless man making a living by selling his paintings. Meet Jon Masters who is becoming a legend in his town for his success story. Maybe, he and his dog named Sheba are homeless, but his art is quickly finding homes all over town!

The 56-year old man has a passion for art, and he is using it to help get himself and his dog off the streets and make for a fine living. Jon used the money he received from panhandling to buy art supplies, and now he paints to make money and build a decent home for him and his beloved dog.
This talented homeless man sells his paintings in order to support himself and inspire others. Masters is a true master of art with incredible talent. It is such a shame that he is homeless!

Jon and his dog Sheba, sit under the same tree every day. Sheba is constantly by his side while the artist creates exceptional works of art. Footage shows Jon painting while Sheba relaxes on a blanket, right next to him, under the big tree shadow.

Reportedly, John and Sheba hand out under this tree every day. In the past, John used to live in an old sailboat which unfortunately sank while he was in jail for trespassing. However, none of this keeps John down, he is as positive as he can be and doesn’t let life keep him down!

The good word travels far so John’s story was heard all over town and the good started to go his way. People began dropping off dog food and art supplies, so his art began to sell very quickly. Local people love Masters and appreciate his talent. Community members often stop by to see Masters, dropping off art supplies and dog treats for Sheba.

He learned to paint a few years back while living in New Orleans and studying the artists in famed Jackson Square. His real name is Jon Spiel, but he is known by his artistic name Jon Masters. Many people, intrigued by his paintings and inspired by his story, buy his unique nature scenes on canvas.
