If you're fed up with hearing and reading about all the bad things that happen in the world, then you may want to take a break and watch this video that proves that we are also capable of working together to help animals in need.

When a group of beach goers (and firefighters) saw some manatees on the shore, they immediately knew that they had to take action or the poor animal will die. They had a choice - either be apathetic and walk away without giving it a second thought, or team up and help the manatees go back in the water.

Everyone came together and pitched in - you can even see small children splashing the unfortunate manatees while the grownups attempt to get them back to safety. Manatees are also known as "sea cows" due to the similarity to land cows in the way they slowly eat their food. They are peaceful creatures and they deserve better than dying on a beach.

In a truly remarkable display of kindness and selflessness, these people managed to save the stranded manatees and by doing so, they made the world a better place. Everyone should take example from what they did, and maybe, just maybe, someday you'll be inspired by their actions and help in a similar situation.

At the end, we can hear the cheerful applause after the successful rescue mission! And remember, if you can't help an animal yourself, make sure to call professionals who can. Just take action.
