The Interior Ministry confirmed at least 13 people were killed and dozens were injured after a van plowed into pedestrians in the shopping area of Las Ramblas in Barcelona, Spain. Bystanders and emergency services tended to injured people on the sidewalk in the aftermath of the incident, which Catalonia’s Department of the Interior confirmed on Twitter was a “terror attack”.
